Question about sperm analysis
DH and I are going to our first RE consult in less than 2 weeks. We are going to Cornell. When does DH give his sample? Would they have him do it that day? Should we abstain from sex for a day if I'm not ovulating? And does the RE analyze the sperm or does DH have to go to a separate doctor such as a urologist?

My husband and i just switched to cornell. First appt go over history and he does sonogram and some swabs for bacteria if tests were never run. then a follow up appt is made for SA and bloodwork, etc on you. Good Luck!!

Usually consults are just talking about things. When I went to mine at Columbia I did not have any testing done that day. They just gave me the list of tests I would need and discussed some loose options since they would not decide on anything until after testing
