Lap surgery - more questions
Is it normal that my belly button is still badly bruised 3 weeks post surgery? I had bruising last time I had this surgery but don't rememebr how long.
Also my left side where he removed my Fallopian tube is still super sore and I keep getting sharp pains - feels like it's in the muscle though. It's on and off and not consistent at all. I also hold my toddler on that side so it's prob not helping the matter.
Ok and last question, next to all my incisions are 2-3 dots that have scabbed up. I asked him at my post op what that was and he said he gave me numbing injections post surgery to help with the pain. Must have been a buff needle bc they are sizable dots but he said they will fade. I had no idea about this and woke up in a lot of pain from what I remember. Anyway I didn't have that last time either. Different dr different hospital. Has anyone heard of this?
And overall I just feel like bloated still in my belly or extra pouchy. Blah.
TIA for your help!

I would say its normal to have swelling 3 weeks later, its still surgery, but if unsure call your MD

Re: Lap surgery - more questions
I also had my left tube removed several years ago. I don't remember specifics but I do remember that I began to catch a cold about 2-3 weeks post surgery. I remember sneezing and seeing stars. It was pretty painful. I hope you feel better soon!
