Tipping hairdresser
My hairdresser mixed my color but one of the assistants applied it and will rinse me out. I don’t have time for my hairdresser to give me a blowout so I am leaving with my hair wet. Obviously I will tip the assistant, but do I tip my hairdresser as well?

How much? I haven’t had just my roots done in long time. I usually get my roots dyed and a blowout together and it’s usually about $110 with tax. My guess is the dye will be about $65-70. How much would you suggest I tip my hairdresser and the assistant?

I always have a dilemma with this. Maybe split it half and half? I know hairdresser isn't doing much, but I would feel funny not giving her anything. I always debate this issue with myself when paying. Usually my hairdresser applies it herself and shampoo girl is just rinsing.
