The bottom line is it's not called the "China Virus" nor is it called the "European Virus".
It's Covid-19.
So call it that and act like a professional and a leader. That goes for both of them calling it these names.

They are still saying it originated in China.
I know Sherlock. But the strain we got here in the Spring was from Europe.

Exactly, I can’t believe people are quoting science as a reason Cuomo is allowed to call it that. No, it’s not science. Scientists are not calling it the European Virus or the China Virus. I feel like the whole well it’s “science” excuse, is really starting to undermine actual research and science. It’s like another buzz word.

My science references was just to indicate the path that the virus took to come to the US. I don't agree that anyone should use any geographic label to reference the virus. It should be called Covid-19.

I agree, but I do think they should mention which variant it is because some seem to be worse than others. We just got the South African variant here. They spent so much time blocking the UK variant out, but it seems they forgot that there is a South African population here.
