No matter WHAT the occasion/situation I always have a fear of farting.
For example, today I have a GYN appointment and Wednesday I have a waxing appointment and until they are over I won't be able to stop thinking about it.
Before I fall asleep I usually think about it too, bc obviously that is the only place I can't control it
and from reading these boards, I am going to have a TOUGH pregnancy when the time comes!

For some strange reason I have an amazing phobia of seaweed. If it touches me in the ocean, I have a full on panic attack and begin to hyperventilate and cry. Its stupid I know--but its a fear.
I rarely go into the water for this reason.

Ants...no other insect bothers me...a spider could crawl on my leg and I wouldn't care in the least, but an ant? I freak out. Not just "oh my god, an ant!" either. I feel like I'm going to die. My heart races and I feel a full-out panic attack. I have no clue why either. Everybody thinks I'm ridiculous.

Tidal Waves.
I used to have recurring dreams about them when I was little. Every now and then I try to convince Rob to move off of LI to assuage this fear.. but he'll have none of it.

When I went rafting - I got myself back on the raft and looked down and there was ONE single piece of seaweed ( or river weed whatever ) on my leg and I screamed and threw myself BACK in the water and almost cracked my head on a rock LOL

Putting air in my tires. I knowit's stupid but I am afraid that they will blow up. Maybe not when I actaully put the air in, but after I get going on the highway and the air heats up and expands then BAM!
I'm went to school for sculpture, have used tons of power tools and welders, but I am afraid to put air in my tires

FTR - my doctor thought I was certifiable when I was pregnant. I invented a series of abnormalities to ask him about every time I visited. I was CONVINCED Robbie was a dwarf when I was about 25 weeks pregnant and begged him to tell me 'the truth' and that it wouldn't matter because I would be okay with it. He was not a dwarf. Or a hermaphrodite. Or a cyclops. Lucky me!
And your son is going to be GORGEOUS!!!!!

oh god i am glad i'm not the only one 
i seriously have these weird issues and have become convinced the baby is going to come out with like 3 noses or something (despite the fact that i've only seen one on the sonograms )

I am afraid of ALL pregnancy related "side effects".
Sad but true.
I was thinking today about the intense fear I have to stretch marks on my stomach and the loss of boob shape.
i am not necessarily afraid of getting "Fat" b/c I know I will starve to death/work my *** off to lose the weight....
my concern is more for those things that diet and exercise cannot help.
It's awful and I feel guilty and terribly that I think this way...but I do.
I am vain. VAIN VAIN VAIN.

Even when its 90 degrees out, I HAVEEEEE to wear a blanket or at least a sheet.
I think in my weirdo mind, if a robber came into our apartment, he wouldn't be able to shoot me or see me if I am under some kind of sheet or covering!
Oh man, I feel so vulnerable letting my craziness out!
