DRIVING.. it's really bad. I know that I can drive fine, but I get so scared of everyone else that I almost cause accidents..
Hence the reason I do not have, and have never had a license and keep failing my road tests.. (could it possibly be because I broke out in hives at the test? maybe?)
 
I'm working on it though, but I don't think I will ever be able to go anywhere far or on the LIE or anything..  it would be nice to be able to just drive around the corner and to places I HAVE to go
It's so ridiculous because I really don't get anxiety about anything else at all, but this is a real problem 
 Have you tried taking classes? Maybe you would feel more comfortable if you know the instructor has control of the situation too. And then you can gain more confidence!
I know how horrible it is though, I do not drive on highways and I was thinking of taking classes too even though I have been driving for ten years. I only drive locally.

When walking up a driveway at night (even my own) I alway worry someones going to jump out and try to hurt me.
I'm scared of sharks-the reason I rarely go in beach water
and I hate other peoples hair getting on me.

I am also afraid of the dark..I sleep with about 10 lights on when Joe's at work but when he's home only 1 nightlight..Gotta rock the SpongeBob light

It's not really embarassing...but, I CANNOT watch movies if they have blood or gore - I will come up with an excuse to leave the room if I am at someone's house and they put on say "Silence of the Lambs"...or I'll try my best to not look at the tv. I have a very overactive imagination and I'll have nightmares if I watch something scary or too bloody.
When I was pledging my sorority my sophomore year we had to watch a scary movie and I hid behind my friend the entire time and pretended to watch it!

I am terrified at the thought of a house fire. Not even losing my possessions, but either not being home or not being able to get the dogs and the cat out of the house.
Also, snakes don't thrill me either.

I can only swim in a pool. I am deadly afraid of swimming in the ocean.
- swimming with dolphins
- jumping from a diving board (I am paralysed of fear with heigth)
- will not be able to jump from a burning building to save me
- DS dieing
- Cannot have DH go to his car after 8pm from the train station to the parking lot. I have to go with DS get him in my car and drive him to his car.
- NEVER go into convenient stores. Scared to be shot.

I fear lots of things.......Bugs is #1 on my list. I'm not a big fan of heights either when looking down........I think I'm going to fall over by a big gust of wind. So dumb.
But my weirdest fear and most rediculous of course is.........Overflowing Toilet Bowls. I hate when the water gets high. It scares me and freaks me the f'k out!

hahha and I am the EXACT opposite - being home alone is my FAVORITE THING EVERRRR.

Clowns - always, never got over it either. I hope my kids never want to go to the circus. We have season tix to the Opera, and when the Big Apple Circus is at Lincoln Center, we have to detour around the area where the tent is set up because I'm so afraid of seeing a clown.
Sleeping with the closet door open. My husband is awful about closing doors and cabinets, etc. All doors closet or otherwise in our bedroom need to be closed at all times.

Choking and being smothered are tops on my list. I have mild claustrophobia and value my personal space. A lot. 
I try not to walk on sidwalk grates on city streets, ever.
I always walk or ride my bike against traffic so I can see it coming. I have no idea how people ride bikes with cars coming at them from behind.

I have an irrational fear of:
Having my head under water. I almost drowned as a teenager and now I start to hyperventilate as soon as my mouth and nose are covered with water.
Something smashing through my windshield and piercing my chest. I think I have watched too many "man" movies because this happens in almost every Lethal Weapon movie.

hmmmmm idk what youre afraid of..
i remembered another one.. im afraid to kill spiders... you always had to do it for me.. now you moved out and left me and then joe did it.. now he left me for college.... i guess its time to get over that fear.
i think youre afraid of... errrr.. IDK!!! i guess i got the scardypants genes.

Bees and spiders.. I've given my daughter an incredible fear also.. since she's seen me scream and run across the house/yard to get away from them
Death.. I guess thats not ridiculous but it scares the crap out of me.
Someone breaking in the house, I check the locks twice, check on DD, keep a light on in the kitchen and if I hear a noise forget it.. Rob wanted to kill me soo many times lol
