Someone touching my wrists.
My basement - but only when the lights are off. DH wonders why I bought 2 cases of lightbulbs & gripes about the kids always leaving a light on in the basement. Right, right...it's those d@mn kids.

Yes, seriously. I get the creeps walking down the fish tank aisles in pet stores even. 
This is DH's fear! His biggest nightmare is walking past a fish market and having a fish tossed at him. The bigger the fish, the more terrifying.

I have 2 big fears..
House fire - I sometimes cringe coming home because I always imagine coming home to my house that's been burned down. And at night, while I lay there trying to fall asleep, I'll sometimes think I smell something burning.
Car crashes - I am a good driver and I am very comfortable when I drive, but put me in a car with anyone else and I am a total freak!! Especially my DH. White knuckles all the way, basically because I am in the front seat, and if its a long drive, I will usually get a migraine from the tension I have

Insects of any kind. I freak out at the mere sight of a spider in my house.
And I am terrified of being attacked. If I am walking into my apt at night or standing at the mailboxes, getting into my car, etc, and someone walks by, my back stiffens and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up; My heart starts beating fast. It's completely ridiculous but it happens.

Sad but true.
I was thinking today about the intense fear I have to stretch marks on my stomach and the loss of boob shape.
i am not necessarily afraid of getting "Fat" b/c I know I will starve to death/work my *** off to lose the weight....
my concern is more for those things that diet and exercise cannot help.
It's awful and I feel guilty and terribly that I think this way...but I do.

i think the same way....i mean i want to have children soo badly after a couple years of being married. But I am afraid the weight wont come off, I'll have stretch marks and all those other unpleasant body changes that occur wont go away haha. It may sound vain of me but I know I would do anything to have a child so I will get over that when the time comes

I also have a big fear of getting into a life endangering care crash!! I am deathly scared of it
I mean I am comfortable on the road driving and I am a cautious driver, well I believe. But as a superstition I always make the sign of the cross when I get into my car or a car with anyone else. I had a younger brother who died 20 years ago and I always make the sign of the cross and say to myself "keep me safe john" I feel he watches over me when I drive. But if I didn't do that I honestly believe I will get into a horrible car crash and not come home!!! And another thing that fearsr me is my parents would have another dead child!!! And I hate driving with other people especially if they are crazy drivers.
But....I also fear having a child with a disability. Now I am getting my Masters for Special Education/Early Childhood. And I believe all children are a blessing and I would love my child no matter what, and I have the background to understand if I did have a child with a disability. But I think every parent has that nature feeling of...I hope my child is healthy and does not have a disability or anything.

Definitely a lot of stuff related to pregnancy-- all normal stuff I imagine. I do have an intense fear of giving birth though... I would love to skip over that part although I am not sure it's physically possible.

Getting bloodwork and IV's...deathly afraid...at 34 I still cry when getting and IV
Getting into a car accident. At 17 I fell asleep driving and hit a tree in the median on Sunrise. I'm petrified it will happen again.

I have an irrational fear of banks. I'm always afraid it will be robbed while I'm there. I do as much banking online and at ATMs as possible!
DH is like this with armored cars ... as soon as he sees one in front of a store but ESPECIALLY a bank, he's like "hold up a minute ... lets wait to go inside."

im afraid to be home alone.... seriously petrified. i have to make sure every window and door is locked 50 times over... and i avoid the front door at night... we have the kind with the glass window in it. i have this fear that im gonna walk past the door one night and some scary man is gonna be standing there with a knife. ... ok im nuts. .

Even when its 90 degrees out, I HAVEEEEE to wear a blanket or at least a sheet.
I think in my weirdo mind, if a robber came into our apartment, he wouldn't be able to shoot me or see me if I am under some kind of sheet or covering!
Oh man, I feel so vulnerable letting my craziness out!
Growing up..I had a very similar fear. I used to sleep with the covers up to my neck because I used to fear a robber coming in a slitting my throat

terrified of heights, and falling
to the point where i cant walk anywhere near the railing in the roosevelt field mall... cant go up the steps and wait my turn for the rides at splish splash...sometimes i cant stand on a chair to change a light bulb

DRIVING.. it's really bad. I know that I can drive fine, but I get so scared of everyone else that I almost cause accidents..
Hence the reason I do not have, and have never had a license and keep failing my road tests.. (could it possibly be because I broke out in hives at the test? maybe?)
 
I'm working on it though, but I don't think I will ever be able to go anywhere far or on the LIE or anything..  it would be nice to be able to just drive around the corner and to places I HAVE to go
It's so ridiculous because I really don't get anxiety about anything else at all, but this is a real problem

I will not sleep with my arm or leg hanging over the bed. God knows what kind of creepy monsters are hiding under the bed.
I am glad I'm not the only one. I'm afraid my arm or leg will be grabbed. Sometimes I still jump into bed from far away if it is dark in the room...just in case.

I used to have a front door like that at the place we lived before here and I would get scared someone would be out there also..
It also just seems way to easy to just smash the window and break in..

needles. I can't look at them, when I get bloodwork done or had to get an IV at the hopsital for surgery I could not see them do it. I would shake even when they kept taking blood from my finger to check my hemoglobin (Anemic) frequently the past couple of months. If I see needles on tv I get completely skeeved and then can't relax lol for a few minutes.
I'm afraid of bugs all bugs, even ants skeeve me.
