6 month old feeding schedule and food?
DS is 6 months already and had his ped checkup Tuesday. He is now 20lbs (90%) and 28 1/4 inches (95%). He's my big boy! haha. Anyway, She said he can start eating more fruits and veggies. I make my own baby food and I am going shopping tomorrow. What can I make and give DS now that he is six months and what should his feeding schedule be like? TIA!!!

DD will be 7months on Sunday.
Her schedule for the last month has been:
730: wake up, oatmeal and fruit, 6oz bottle
1130/12: 6oz bottle
330/4: 6oz bottle
530: Cereal and veggies, some organic puffs, baby mum mum etc.
7:6oz bottle
730: bed

Sweet potatoes
peas
carrots
green beans
pears
apples
peaches
mango
cantalope
banana

I make the majority of Chloe's food. She is 6 1/2 months and so far we have given her:
apples
pears
bananas
apricots
peaches
prunes
avocado
sweet potato
green beans
peas
butternut squash
and most recently chicken
I think Im going to do mango and blueberries next

her schedule was something like this around 6 months. I did gerber and beechnut, I didnt make my own
7am bottle
830 cereal with fruit mixed in
11am bottle
1200 2 jars of food (1fruit 1 veggie)
3pm bottle
430 dinner 1fruit 1 veggie and more if she wanted
630 bottle & bed

I haven't given DS this b/c I've ready it doesn't freeze well, but he loves butternut squash and acorn squash. Wholesomebabyfood.com is a great resource to look at for food preparation and when to give different fruits and vegetables.
