Re: Trump running for President
Never.I'm sure there are a lot of opportunists that have been/ran for President but I've seen how he takes advantage of perks of his position as a builder & would never vote for him.

Re: Trump running for President
No. With the exception of the Manhattan property, pretty much all of his business projects fail. He's lucky his father was able to acquire so much valuable property for him to rely on.

Nope. I really feel as if our government is nothing but a joke.
I feel like he's the kid who would get all the votes promising a vending machine and 4 days of school while the kid who could actually do something but isn't cool enough would get no votes.

I would not vote for him but I have to say that I agree with a LOT of the points he brought up about America, the economy, etc. during his Today interview this morning.

No way, and it freaks me out that 8 people have said they would so far (and I'm assuming this number will increase). My dad wrote his autobiography so we know him pretty well, and it's not good stuff.

Re: Trump running for President
I think he would great ON PAPER. But his success as a business man has really been a trial over the years. He has had A LOT of failures. While this is great in business, I don't think we can gamble when it comes to people's retirement, health insurance, etc...
So I have to say no.
He is an opportunist and business man. I don't see him as a President and the quality of a President. A Government is not a business. It's not a property. It's not a casino. There are many people who depends on the Government. Not just a few hundred people on your personel roster.

Re: Trump running for President
Depends on who is running against him.
I'm not a fan of him at all, but if I truly despised the person running against him, I might feel obligated to vote for the lesser of two evils.
Though I can't see either of the major parties backing him, so it doesn't frighten me in the least. And I really don't think he'd win as a third-party candidate.

While I agree with you, I am also going to ask/say - while the government SHOULD NOT BE property, a gamble, etc.. isn't it now a days?? Really? I don't think anyone has a damned clue what they are doing anymore.... just a bunch of self serving, fast dealing double talkers Even the ones who truly want to make a difference get no where because of the majority of schemers.

I think it's a fair statement.
But DT IS a gambler. Big one! And his track record is not in his favor.
While I think his gambles may have paid off in his business, I really cannot see an "opportunist" to go for President.
I think it's like his "next challenge" not necessarily for the good of the Country. KWIM?

Totally agree
Let us remember that some of his business success has come at other peoples expense in the form on bankruptcies. I don't want someone who wins like that leading our nation.

True. Like I said, I don't disagree, bu the is smart. No matter his tactics, he does always come out on top. I just wouldn't count him out simply because i don't see anyone of true virtue stepping up, KWIM?

Yes, but he has either gone bankrupt or "restructured" 4 different times, and is still on top. While I am certainly not advocating for him, the man is NO fool, and IMO an interesting candidate.

Re: Trump running for President
He was on Hannity this afternoon and had some very interesting things to say. I dont think he could do any worse than anyone else. Shoot, an actor ran the country for 8 years and did a pretty good job - probably better than anyone who came after him.
