Re: A Diner? At three weeks?
Oh my!! I wish I could have responded earlier. Let's just say that DS was out in public WAY early because he came home from the hospital a lot earlier than I did. Poor DH was a 'single' dad, just doing what he could to survive for the both of them.
Than again, he didn't get too many comments taking DS out at 6 days old , since he looked like a 6 month old. Guess it helps to give birth to a large child.

i had a peanut too and someone once asked me why i took him out so early. i gave her an earful. he looked small but was really like 5 or 6 weeks. i guess no one gave her the memo not to say things like that to me.
we had DS at applebees at 1 week old and he was out and about as soon as we came home. i wish people would just mind their own business and let you be a mother the way you want to be.

Re: A Diner? At three weeks?
Not unless you were out clubbing with her, got to the diner at 4 am and were feeding her cheese fries with a side of gravy
We waited the two months but my kids were also born during cold and flu season and Barb's story about Maddie's spinal tap at two weeks old scared the be-jesus out of me. My DS was so tiny and DD spent time in the NICU so I was super cautious.
