age difference between dc
im still pregnant with #2 but thinking about the future and since everyone is asking when were trying for a boy  how much of an age gap do you have between dc? between 1 and 2 there will be 3 years....im not sure if we should have the next ones closer.

I'm preggo with #2 also, DD will be about 3 & 1/2 when #2 comes. DH and I have always said we wanted 4 but we'll see how things go with 2. If we do go on to have more we'll try for a closer age range between the rest of them. I feel like I'm so over the infant stage, I'm dreading going back to a diaper bag!! lol

We knew we wanted two...and based on my job situation at the time..we figured we would have both immediately.

we currently only have one, but once DS turns 1 we'll be talking about TTC... we want the first 2 to be close in age... under 2 years... then the 3rd will have a larger gap.

I have a 7 1/2 year age difference between my boys. Not by choice. We started trying when DS was 4 and then we had some unexpected fertility issues. It took us almost 3 years to conceive my youngest ds.
We are planning to try again for the 3rd when DS2 is 3 or 4.

2 years and 10 days apart. It would have been closer had I not had a loss before Jeremy. That's only because I am an old fart and I didn't want to wait that long between kids.

Mine, too. Same birth month. 3 years is great so far. Close enough that they still play together, and have similar taste in things, but far enough apart that we can pass things down, and they aren't always doing the exact same things.
Also, when it comes time to pay for college, there's (hopefully) only one year when we're paying for two at the same time....

DS is 2 and will be a few months shy of 3 when the twins are born. We are done. We wanted 2 kids, are getting 3, and we can't be happier.
I always wanted a 3 year age difference. My sister and I are almost 5 years apart, and I definitely felt the big age difference contributed to us not getting along during our childhood.

I am pregnant with #2 as well and they will be 27 months apart. I always liked the idea of children growing up close in age. I think it is what works best for your family and when you family is ready.

I am also PG with #2 they will be almost three years and wanted it that way. I had time to enjoy my DS did not want two babies at once IF we do go a third I will wait till both kids are in school and then Have my one baby at home...

I am PG with #2 and they will be about 13.5 months apart. If we decide to have #3, I have no idea but would probably try to have 2 years between #2 and #3, but #3 is a very big "if"

Thats me and my brother!!
To the OP, I never plan on having 3 but my SILs kids are
3.5 years between DC 1 & 2, 18 months between DC 2 & 3
My other SIL did it hte opposite
19 months between DC 1 & 2 and then 3 years betwen DC 2 & 3
Its all up to what you want/can handle.

I am currently pregnant with #2, they will be 31 months apart. If I had a 3rd I would try to make the age difference a little bit closer.

My first two are 20 mos. apart and it was/is great. The third will be 3.5 years younger than the second. As much as the 2 under 2 thing worked for us, as you can see...I wasn't going down THAT path again (although according to our original plan #s 2 and 3 would have still been under 2.5 year apart). 
Now that DD#1 is in K full-time and her sister is in Nursery 3 half-days, I'm hoping to have a smooth(er) transition...but I still have no illusions.
