I don't have a lot of faith that she will win her appeal, but I do agree it's a great miscarriage of justice. I think the whole situation has been handled poorly.
Unfortunately, Italy doesn't seem to have the fairest of judicial systems, lest we forget this is a system that is prosecuting scientists for manslaughter for failing to predict a 2009 deadly earthquake

WOW! I am shocked!!!! Acquitted!!!! Good for her!!! But at the same time, so sad for the family of the girl that was killed, it is har to be happy when such a tragic crime has been committed.

I would be shocked if she wasn't freed! The poor girl went through so much for a crime she didn't commit.
And I think now there's mentioned that she has to pay for some legal fees. How ridiculous!
This is gonna make me think seriously about ever going to Italy again.
