another wisdom tooth ?
I apologize for the couple of posts on this, but i'm having the top ones removed tomorrow and I'm scared.
How long does this usually take to do?
I won't be knocked out, will I experience pain during extraction?

Re: another wisdom tooth ?
had one top one removed by my regular dentist.. was not knocked out- just a lot of novacaine.. no pain just a lot of pressure..... weird feeling... it wasnt impacted so it wasnt a bad removal but needed to come out for other reasons....
mine was not easy to get out so it took a little while longer.. I am a huge BABY too and it was fine... so pain or swelling- not too much bleeding... youll be fine!!

Re: another wisdom tooth ?
The top ones are much easier than the bottom so dont' worry. I was wide awake- just numbed up. No pain- just pressure and tugging. I had no swelling after- no pain either- I went to work the next day. You will be fine- I promise. I am the BIGGEST baby in the world and if I am saying it's not bad, believe me it's not!
ETA- mine was badly decayed so it popped right out. I had that one and another one out and was done in like 20 minutes for both.

Re: another wisdom tooth ?
I did not feel pain when I was awake, but I did feel a little pressure. It was not as bad as I thought though, and the vicodin afterward hit the spot

Re: another wisdom tooth ?
I had mine done last week--it was seriously under 3 minutes per tooth. My first was done by a dentist and took over an hour, which was horrible, but the surgeons are infinitely better. Not bad at all. You won't feel pain, but you will feel pressure. Like someone pushing into your gum hard, but not in a sharp pain sort of way. My surgeon was so great--he talked to the hygenist the whole time and really calmed me down. After they will sit you in a quiet recovery area for about 10 minutes biting on gauze to clot the blood.
