Any plans for Valentine's Day?
We don't do anything special. For us, Valentine's Day is just a commercial holiday. DW often buys flowers on Feb 15th. They're just as nice, but 1/4 the price! 
Every day is Valentine's Day for us....  
(Just in case she happens to log into my account and read this.... )

Decorated for the kids and made them pink chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. Bought DH a chocolate heart and a card. Later..............taking my DD to Irish Step then having pizza with DH and DS while she dances, and then home to relax on the couch. Very romantic.

i gained SO much weight ( 25 lbs since JUNE ) I told DH i just want to eat at home. we are going to japan on Friday and it will be 9 days of eating nonstop. im afraid
of course he came to my office this morning to drop something off and got me 2 cake pops which i ate already

Any plans for Valentine's Day?
Hoping that I can find the card I bought last year but never filled out so I can give it to DH this year. He bought some nice steaks to make for dinner.
I'm feeling very down this week so I'm not in the mood to do anything. I'd stay in my pjs today if DD2 didn't have speech coming this afternoon.

We never do anything for Valentine's Day. It is also my birthday, which I have to admit sucks. Because of the huge commercialization of the holiday, I can't just go out to dinner on my birthday. Well, not without having to deal with crowded restaurants and overpriced menus.

Any plans for Valentine's Day?
No plans today. We got the kids some little gifts and gave it to them this morning. He gave me a chocolate heart. We will go out to dinner either this Saturday or next when it's less crowded.
DH is working tonight, so me and the kids will just eat at home. Unless we order in take out.

I got cards for the kids and DH. Normally DH buys flowers for me and DD and balloons for my DS but we are leaving for Europe tomorrow so its going to be low key today. We will get take out for dinner as I have too much going on to cook.

DH is away, which is really no big deal for me, but he feels bad about it. I'm perfectly content to have a quiet night at home to watch This is Us  . He said we'll celebrate when he gets home at the end of the week - which means we'll go out to dinner, which we would probably do anyway. Plus we just booked a trip to the Caribbean for next month as our Valentines "present" to each other (not that we usually go all out like that) - I think that made DH feel a little better about being away, and sure works for me!

DH and I go to dinner. I work in the city so he comes in and we go to the Sea Grill. Its a nice night and we ALWAYS see someone get engaged on the ice at Rockerfeller.

I'm with you.
Everything - from flowers to dinner is jacked up more than 50%.
It's kind of silly
DD enjoys it- she has a class party, gives out her valentine's, I get her a little gift etc.
It's cute for kids
But to me it's no big deal

We went out to a nice dinner on Sunday. Nothing planned for today. I got him a box of chocolates (which he found and opened over the weekend). Got the kids a few little things, but that's it really. Valentines day isnt a big deal to us.

DH is coming into the city to have lunch with me and a friend visiting from California.
I left him Valentine chocolates this morning.
Tonight is just a regular Tuesday night. I hadn't planned on cooking since we are having lunch today, but there's enough stuff in the fridge to make something.
