Anyone get a camera ticket for going thru a yellow/red light?
The light was yellow but immediately turned red and I saw two photos being taken. This was on the service road of the LIE in Suffolk county. I'm furious at myself... I was stuck in traffic on the LIE because of an accident and I wanted to safe time. Joke's on me! Anyway I am wondering how long it takes for the ticket to come and how much to expect it to be for.

If you were in the intersection when it turned red, you might not get a ticket. They flash much more than they actually ticket. They DO review it.
I am not sure how long it takes.,

That would be great. It was yellow when I entered the intersection. I was the only one there, though, and the second flash convinced me. Thanks though. I hope you are right!!

I just got one in the mail. I watched the video online and it showed we went through the light when it was yellow and turned red once we were passed the line and halfway through the intersection and we got a $50 ticket.

I think it always flashes twice. They take pictures to kind of show your trajectory and when you entered/exited the intersection.
I've been flashed about 5x and only got a ticket once

You have to enter the intersection when the light is steady red to get the ticket.
So if you are in the intersection when it is yellow and then it turns to red, you shouldn't get it.

Really?
We get one here. The law states that yellow means you can enter the intersection if you can safely cross it before the light turns red. If the light turns red while you are in the intersection you were not safely crossing.
Or at least that's the bs line I got when I received a ticket for going through a yellow turned red.  and the judge backed it up.
Then again I got a red light camera ticket here for not waiting a full 5 seconds at a red before making a right. I stopped, I waited but not long enough. haha they had me on VIDEO!  I paid my $75 and walked away. Thankfully camera tickets dont count for points (here anyway)
