yet another red light camera question
Do people review the footage?
I ask b/c DH and I had to make a left in Queens back in December. He was in the middle of the intersection waaaaaiiiiittttting for traffic to stop. The light turned, traffic stopped, he went and the light went off.
It's almost March and we haven't received anything. I'm under the assumption that someone DOES review them. I also think getting a ticket for trying to make a left is just not cool!

I believe that if you are already in the intersection when the light turns red, it is not considered to be an illegal move. The cameras, as far as I know, are supposed to catch people who enter the intersection after the light has already turned red.

Re: yet another red light camera question
i think you can ask for a review? or go to court?
I know my dad got one w/ his big delivery truck and there must have been something in the road that was slippery (grease? ice?) and you could see the smoke coming from where the tires locked up- like he tried to stop but couldn't so he went through.
