Anyone turn on your heat yet?
I just caved. I am home today and my home feels COLD with the wind whipping around outside. I just put it up to 62----nothing major though.

I HATE being cold.
I turn the heat on faster than I do the A/C in the summer.

I put it up to 65 last night.
I hate the smell that my baseboards give off the first time they are turned on!

REFUSE until November. I am really trying desperately to keep bills down since things are getting real tight. But we have a fireplace and plenty of wood so i made this insane fire that got the house up to 70. Just by the time we wake up there is a chill.

We put on the heat last night... My DH must have been cold when he set it because this morning we both woke up soooooooooo hot 
I'm looking forward to finally using the fireplace!

Well we live in an apartment and rent and the management company doesn't legally have to turn the heat on until 10/16...so no. But the weird thing is...we have been kind of hot at night and opening the windows. We live on the 17th floor...I guess heat rises!

DH is home all day today......doubt he will turn it on. My boss def didnt turn it on @ work!!!! I freezing even though I have a sweater, space heater and a cup of tea!!!!! BBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

I have once. DH broke our thermostat so only the second floor has heat!
I have to call the oil co to get them to take a look.

We turned it on last night, but set it to 66. We haven't really needed it at night, but it's been around 62 degrees when we get up in the morning, which is brutal when getting out of the shower.

Last night I just put on the gas fireplace -- no heat though. That thing gives off so much heat that it really helps on those days where it is cold but feels too early to put on the actual heat.

Not yet! We have the upstairs heat set to 65 for the baby just in case, but it hasn't kicked on yet.

Yes, even though I like it cold when I sleep, when I whip the covers off in the morning to get up, I want it at least somewhat warm!!

We have ours on 60 just in case it gets chilly at night. Its pretty comfortable in the house.

We turned it on last night because the house was at 62 and that is too cold for DS, it hasn't come on at all today (we have it set to 67). if it were just me I'd bundle more, but with a toddler in the house I felt we should turn it on.

I did. Twice already.
In our defense I only turned it up to 68. 
eta: OMG - I just saw that others put it up to 62 and 65. Geez. My house was at 64 - I had to turn it up!!
