I got one, I am a teacher and around a ton of germs. I've never had any bad reactions to it.

i never had one in the past but I plan on ttc'ing next month so I wanted to get it ahead of time. I just got it this week
DD (13 months) got hers last week

My MIL is a nurse and she has given me the shot in the past.
Last year she did not and I did not get sick.
The year she did I got sick 
So I think I will pass on the shot this year.

Got it years ago and had a bad reaction, was FLU LIKE< FEVERISH for 1-2 mths. it was awful. Never again. On the fence for my 10 mth old DD.

i always get it. never got sick with the shot. i'd rather be protected with the shot in case i do get the flu. studies have been done...u could 2 people who get the flu. one with the shot and one without. the person that got the shot won't get the flu as bad as the one who didn't get the shot

Never had one before, probably never will get one either.
I do get my kids one though. And will probably just get them the seasonal flu one this year (not the swine flu one).

Yes on Oct 31.
I always get the shot. My doc recommends it for me. I have a chronic condition and it could be very bad for me to get the flu.
I had the flu twice years ago and I never ever want to feel like death again.
Doc and I are currently discussing the Swine flu shot but I don't feel I will get that one.
