I didn't vote for Obama either, although I went back and forth for a while before making my decision. I'm not at all upset that McCain didn't win. I think Obama is a very nice man and hope that he will do our country proud.

I agree, but I've been an Obama supporter for awhile. If McCain won, I would have to put my personal feelings aside as well and support him as our leader now (which wouldn't have been so hard really, my main objection was Palin). Thanks for posting your thoughts.

I have to say... I am not sure what is in store for our future. Who knows what is in the cards for Obama in the next four years.
But I feel blessed today.
I'm watching th inaugural ball and I have to say, I am teary. Who knew that one man could be starting to bring us together? Even on just DAY ONE.
I am ready to believe.
I am ready to put aside my political differences and embrace him because our country needs someone that gives us hope and faith. Not just for our economy...but just because we're a really amazing country, and we need to begin to mend our own fences - neighbor to neighbor.
I didn't think I would feel this way. But he has started to tear down my wall...
Sorry - I don't know why I started this post, but I was just really overwhelmed.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Great post!

Obama has alot to clean up in this world, It's going to be a long road and i'm sure there will be a few bumps , But, I feel Obama is going to succeed in changing this world.
