12 months. I would just send him into to daycare with the sippies and he will realize he won't be getting bottles. That's what I did. She didn't drink much on the first day, but by day 2 she was drinking the sippies.

Same here. At 19 months, she still gets 2 *babas* a day. Thing is though- she will drink her milk from a sippy. The bottle is a comfort for her.
I'm glad this bad mommy is in good company though!

Exact same story for us...DD is almost 17 months...

DS was off of a bottle at 11 months. I think it was easier for us because I mainly BFed him. Now his thumb - that I am having a really hard time with. Oh and he also likes to stick it in his nose and ear.

11 months i bascially gave him only a bottle at night and that was it. Just go cold turkey he will take the sippy cup b/c he will be hungry and wanting to drink.

Clover is 15 months and we got her down to just a bottle at bedtime around 12 months. Throughout the day she gets sippy cups. I think she associates the bottle with comfort so that's why I've kept it till now.
