Azoodie's Holiday Weight Loss Thread!!!
Okay, it's time to make a fresh start! It seems that alot of us (especially me) have either been slacking or hitting low points in their weight loss journies...I know for myself I've slipped so much I've gained back most of what I lost. I'm only down 3 lbs now.
So having said that, I'm forgetting the past and looking towards the future - THE HOLIDAYS!!!
I would like to lose 20-30 lbs by Christmas. This is my short term goal. It's written here and I can't take it back. Well I can just edit it if I really wanted to but I won't. I figure I'll need new clothes and what better time to need them than at Christmas when I won't have to buy them myself?
If anyone else has a short term goal that they would like to achieve, let's post it here. I'll be posting my daily menus on this thread from now on and post my progress here. There's plenty of time to reach your holiday goals if you start now!
Anyone is welcome to join! It doesn't necessarily have to be a weight loss goal. It can be a vow to eat healthier, or lose inches by toning up. Who's with me???

Lunch 2 Boars head light hot dogs 2 S&S lite hot dog buns (Only 6 points for both!!)
Late afternoon Apple
Dinner Salad w/ oil and vinegar My hummous w/ whole grain pita bread
Excercise Kickboxing

Okay, I posted on the other thread, but I'll post my menu here too!!!
My short term goal is to be a piece of azz by Christmas.
Basically, I just want to be at my wedding weight by my first anniversary - which is November 5th.

I'd like to join this... I need to lose about 10 - 15lbs. Put on a pair of pants today and almost passed out!
So here's what I ate so far:
1 bowl of Yogurt Cheerios with 1% milk 4 oz. of orange juice
for lunch its: a small salad with lite italian dressing 1 lowfat yogurt 1 100 calorie pack of chips ahoy(I have to have some chocolate or something sweet)
Fat cells go away!!!

I've been slacking BIG time with work headaches...and realized...NO EXCUSES...get back on the weight loss wagon!
I'd like to lose 10lbs by Christmas...ideally more, but who am I kidding...I've been fighting the same 2lbs for 2 mths now.
Here's today's menu, etc.
Wednesday - 09/20
Breakfast Quaker Weight Control Banana Bread Oatmeal Coffee w/FF Half & Half
Lunch LC Sesame Chicken
Dinner Small Grilled Chicken Thigh Rice Tossed Salad w/O&V
Snack Azad's Hummus!
Exercise NONE...I know, but I have "things" to do after work, so by the time I get home & make dinner...It'll be LATE!

I'd like to join. I would like to fit into my old jeans by christmas. I've started weight watchers and am a nursing mother, so I get about 30 points a day. I'm really new to WW, so if anyone thinks that my points calc is wrong, please let me know.
Breakfast 1/2 glass oj (1) oatmeal (3) coffee w/1 TB cream (2)
Morning Snack 1/2 banana (1)
Lunch BH Turkey on Lite Rye Bread (2)
Afternoon Snack Trail Mix Fruit & Nut (3)
Dinner Chix Francese (9??) Mashed Potato (3) Carrots (0)
Snack Strawberry Bread (4??)
Unfortunately, no exercise yet. I haven't had time since before I was pregnant!

My goal is to lose 5-10 more pounds. I also would like to get into an exercise routine and stick with it.

Breakfast: Strawberry banana smoothie (3 pts)
Lunch: Whole wheat Lean Pocket pizza (4 pts) 1 medium pear (1 pt).
Dinner: 1 slice grandma pizza (6 pts)
Dessert: piece of Entenmann's cake (3 pts) WW ice cream bar (2 pts)

I would love to lose about 10 pounds by November, but I will settle for December if I need to.
I had a "bad" day, but plan on recovering by eating smart tonight. I hate when you go to lunch with colleagues, ask where we will be eating the day before so I can plan, just to find out minds have changed and we are going elsewhere.
Breakfast:
Light English Muffin (1) 1 slice 2% american (1)

Snack:
1 1/3 cup Banana crisps (1)

Lunch:
egg everything bagel "scooped out" (3) Lowfat veggie cream cheese (guesstimating 4)

breakfast 2 slices whole wheat cinnamon raisin bread 1.5 tbsp low fat peanut butter 1 iced coffee with whole milk & 1 sugar
lunch mixed green salad, hard boiled egg, 2 oz grilled chicen, feta and tomates. 1 small scoop pasta with tuna salad
handful of roasted soy beans
snack english breakfast tea 1 fresh baked choco chip cookie
dinner (I'll edit this tomorrow) homemade pasta sauce with tomates, red peppers, onions, portabella shrooms, sweeti italian sausage mini cheese ravioli
chocolate biscotti
Ex: 20 mins Stair master, crunches

snack: 100 calorie pack cookies
dinner: leftovers from my dinner last night

Breakfast: 3/4 cup Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Almonds (2 pts) 1/2 cup skim milk (1 pt)
Lunch: Didn't turn out the way I planned. We had a block party for the kids at work and I ate like a pig. I had: Roasted veggies (0 pts) Chicken & roasted veggie kabob (about 2 pts) Hamburger on bun (6 pts) 1 bite of a hotdog (I am saying 0 pts) Mr. Softee ice cream with chocolate shell (guessing 7 pts)
Snack: 1small banana (1 pt)
Dinner: Grilled chicken (3 pts) broccoli (o pts)
Exercise: 50 minutes of cardio and abs
