Oh my goodness that's awesome!!! See this is the kind of inspiration I need! 37 lbs is a great achievement, congrats on that!
Jen, I just did the menu from things I had in the house (obviously I have a lot of bananas ). We're going to order pizza tonight so I just need to stop at the store to get some salad.
When I go shopping this weekend I'll pick up more point friendly stuff like ww bread (the bread I'm using today is potato bread and is 4 points!!! ww bread is only 1 for 2 slices!) I'm going to pick up more fruits and veggies too.
I lost 100 lbs a few years ago but gained almost half of it back I need to get off my lazy hump and do something about it. I just have to stick to the program!!!!!

Re: Azoodie's Weight Loss Challenge
I'll join you Azad. I need to lose about 20 pounds. I am currently 148 pounds and would like to get down between 128 and 130.
Last night I went to the gym did some weights and ran for about 20 minutes. I got in a tiff with DH, so I went on a 2+mile walk after dinner. It was beautiful out.
I decided that I don't want to be the wife that "let herself go." I need to correct this problem before it gets waaaaay out of hand.
Breakfast: 1 1/4 cup Fiber One Honey Clusters 1 cup skim milk Coffee w/ splenda and non-fat creamer
Lunch: Smart One - fettucini alfredo w/ brocolli 1 cup romaine lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, onion with balsamic vinegrette
Dinner: TBD
If it's cool out, I will do my 2+mile walk again. If not, to the gym I go.
Good luck all!!

Thanks It was great but I have really let myself go.
Anywho, focusing on the positive! I first just did it on my own, stopped eating fast food, cut out soda, it was very easy at first. Watched what I ate, did the low fat/cal thing. I then added excercising but it wasn't enough I plateued.
Then I joined ww and I must've dropped like 45 or so of the lbs doing ww and excercise making it a total of about 100.
I really feel any amount of weight loss is a significant achievement! I know how hard it is to lose every lb!
Yay so glad more are joining!! If you all want we can start a more official thread on monday with everyones planned menus and excercise goals?

Can I make one suggestion? You need to eat protein with every meal! You aren't getting nearly enough. you should eat 1 to 1.25 grams per pound of body weight. this will really help speed things up!

Re: Azoodie's Weight Loss Challenge
lori my homemade hummus is really easy but I'm not sure if it tastes "geniune" i make it how i like it. this is my "diet" version (cause usually I'm more liberal with the olive oil) and i don't use tahini...i just don't love that taste.
Basically you put one (or two) cans of chick peas in a processor, blend it. It won't all blend though cause it's dry, so I add some lemon juice (maybe about 1/2 cup???) process it again. According to how many servings of chick peas I have in there I add that much tsp of olive oil so for each serving it's one serving chick pea, one tsp olive oil. Then, the most important ingredient is crushed garlic. I usually crush a head or two at a time and keep it in a tupperware in the fridge and throw it into things. So I take a heaping teaspoon of garlic and throw it in there. Then just add water until it's smooth and all blended and add salt to taste.
Okay hope that's not too confusing. I don't work well with recipes. I do things by "feeling" But this way, I can eat a half cup of it instead of a couple of tablespoons and it's sooooo low in points
let me know if you try it!
