I had a horrible day!!
good- whey protein w/ 3 rice cakes- post workout
good- oatmeal with 4 egg whites
horrible- grilled chicken with veggies that were nasty! from a greasy salad bar. no more socializing at work!!! they don't know how to eat right!!
good- 2 tbs natty Peanut butter
ok-greek yogurt w/ berries-too many berries!!
ok-I will have raw mixed nuts on the train.
that's it!! I need more veggies!! Tomorrow is another day.

Hey guys, i had a good first week back - 3.5 down!!!
Anyway, here was my menu for today (7/17)
Breakfast: 2 cups cantaloupe
Lunch: lean Pocket Ultra (new, only 4 points each)
dinner: 5oz steak sweet potatoes mashed
Snack: 1/2c. Ben & Jerrys frozen yogurt.
I definitely ate on the light side today, I had a really busy day.

breakfast: 1/2 english muffin w/ 1 piece light laughing cow cheese and 1 tsp PB
lunch: roasted chicken breast and 1 slice 2% cheese on diet rye bread
dinner: 1 cup shrimp pasta w/ olive oil and white wine
dessert: sugar free jello

Dinner Bean and cheese burrito
Snack 94% ff popcorn
Excercise Went to the gym this morning did weight training for the upper body
Updated: Had a softball game I forgot about! We won!! I'm the catcher so I was sweating just standing there, awesome!

Breakfast: WW Yogurt Peanut Butter Kashi Bar Iced Coffee with S/L and 2tbs 1/2 & 1/2
Lunch: Lean Cuisine (not sure which one yet) Salad with FF Italian dressing
Snack: 2% polly-o string cheese
Dinner: Chicken Breast w/ stuffing and gravy over toast w/ a side of peas.
Snack: Sugar-free jello

Lunch: Trader Joes Veggie Roasted Enchilada
Dinner: whole wheat pasta (lite) alreado with turkey sausage
Snack: 3pt. blueberry creme brulee
at least 40 minutes on the treadmill later at the gym too - gotta get that cardio in!

debbie what kind of protein shakes do you drink? do they taste good? and how much protein do they have in them? I have such a hard time getting that in everyday!

Myoplex-Chocolate Creme and I add a tblsp of PB, Unsalted. Yes it actually tastes good.
I dont know the amt of protein offhand, I have to get back to you on that.

I bought mine online in a box of like 40 packets. I can't remember the name of the website though. You can just do a search and you'll find them. Mix COLD water with Myoplex, and I have to use a blender to get the lumps out. (With Met-Rx you can just use a shaker bottle). Calories = 260, Fat = 2.5g Benefits are, if you're trying to lose weight but also maintain muscle, you need to eat enough protein to maintain muscle (proteins are the building blocks for muscle). I only drink them after a workout or as a snack. I never substitute them for a real meal.

snack: 1 medium banana
lunch: roasted chicken breast, 2 % cheese on diet rye.
dinner: ended up going out for Italian-1.5 cups pasta in fresh tomato sauce.
dessert: sugar free jello and coffee

I have been checking this thread out and I think this is definitely something I would like to do. Right now my focus is stying within the daily points. As I get re-acquainted with the points system, I will work on the WW 8HGs.
Breakfast: 3/4 Cup Honey Bunches of Oats 1/2 cup FF Milk 3 pts
Snack: 100 Calorie Pack - Cheetohs Asteroids 2 pts
Lunch: Trader Joe's Low Carb Tortilla (1) 1/4 Cup FF refried Beans (1) 1/8 cup lite shredded cheese (1) 1 tbsp salsa (0)
WW Lemon cake (1) 4 pts
Dinner 3 ounces grilled chix (3) 1 Light LC cheese (1) broccoli (0)
Total so far- 13
