Back to the ped or wait it out?

My 3.5yo has been sick on and off since new year's. I'm mainly concerned bc on the 17th she got a stomach virus, then a cold and cough with a slight fever. We saw the ped last Wed to rule out step and ear infection bc she'd been complaining about her ear and throat at times. It's now been another week and she still gets a mild fever at least every other day (100, sometimes 101). Still coughing and congested. Would you go back in at this point? It's such a low fever and not all the time but I feel like it's a long time to still not be totally gone. I wouldn't think anything if the cough lingering but the fever is what I question.

Yes take her back.

Same thing with my son sick all week went to Doctor, the doctor said he's just sick wait it out. still has cough, low temp took him back last night now he has an ear infection and bronchitis.

Yes, I'd take her back to the peds. I always err on the side of going too many times, rather than not going to the dr and missing something.

Thanks just made another appointment for both girls. My younger one has also been on and off sick and today seems to be her turn with the fever.

Glad we went. Sinus infection for one and ear infection for the other. Uggh

Yes -take her -viral infections always morph into something more serious for my dd
