Basement flooring - opinions

So we had flooding issues in our finished basement and we just got french drains put in, which meant we had to pull up the pergo we had down there. SO now that the drains are put in, I either want to do tile or pergo again but both my Dad and FIL said to do the epoxy paint and then buy remnant carpet and have it bound.

The fact that they both said it without discussing with one another tells me we should probably do that but ughhhhhhhhhhhhh I REALLY don't want to.

WWYD??

The thing about basements is you have to assume they will flood again. I wouldn't get a per go

I would go with a tile file with radiant heat in it.

We have minor water issues when we get big rain storms so we went with ceramic tile and area rugs.
