Bathroom Revovation- approx cost
I know this will vary.
Small bathroom...8 x 5
Changing tub to a shower with tile and glass doors. tile floor new toilet stock vanity (small)
We have a plumber friend and we would do alot of the other work ourselves

Re: Bathroom Revovation- approx cost
if you're doing a lot of the work, depending on your taste/choice in vanity/fixtures etc.. you could spend $1000-$5,000.
im doing almost what you're doing...we will also do the work.. my budget is $3000. hopefully ill stick with it! im really good at finding bargains and choosing great accents and saving on other places.. so hopefully it'll work out!
ETA: sorry, reread it and i think you will definitely be on the lower end. even less than $2,000.

I am not going to go crazy at all....It is for our bathroom in our room which no one besides us will see. I just want it updated and right now we are having issues with the shower and I have a feeling it is just going to snowball.
Money is tight right now but I think $3000 is a reasonable budget...let me know how you do!

Bathroom Revovation- approx cost
I looked into this a few months ago and the lowest quote I got was 7k, which was with us providing most of the materials.
I'm glad I didn't do it, because it sounds like we were getting ripped off!
Dani, please post pics when you're finished. I'd love to see it (and pick your brain about sticking to a 3k budget)!

Your biggest variable will be a shower pan or tile floor in shower. We went with kohler shower pans in two of our showers to keep cost down. Glass doors can vary a lot in price if you go custom. We opted to skip the totally frameless style to keep costs down.

we are doing all of the work so we don't have to pay for labor which is a huge savings. it may not be for a few months though, although id like to start now!

Re: Bathroom Revovation- approx cost
We did a teeny tiny bathroom recently. I think it was $6-7K. The tile and labor was a huge cost. Hope this helps!

We did our bathroom ourselves. Complete gut job. We spent over $3K. Probably closer to 4 or slightly over. We didn't splurge on anything. The tile alone is going to be a bunch since it will be a large area. Also glass doors can run you a bunch

The glass doors and tile are probably what will cost you the most. We went with a frameless glass door and it was over 1000, I don't remember exactly how much.
Depending on the type of tile, the sq footage, and who will be doing it are other potential large expenses. Once you fig out the sq footage it would be easier to est. If you hire a professional tiler it will be much more $.
We paid 1800 labor and I would say 3500-4000 materials without glass doors. That included updating the electric and new pipes, lighting fixtures as well.
