BBQ Dinner Menu
I know this may sound silly, but I was looking to see what I can put on the menu for a BBQ I am having on Friday evening. I know the basic hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, but I was hoping for something special and a little different; even if it is a side dish. I just want to have something fun and different.
Any ideas?

Re: BBQ Dinner Menu
Mac and Cheese Sausage and Peppers Grilled Shrimp skewers Grilled tomatoes with fresh bleu cheese Ribs Homemade lemonade Corn on the cob with chili and lime shish kebob and.. my personal fave.. marinated french cut lamb chops. Soak them in olive oil, fresh rosemary, lemon, salt, pepper and a pinch of dried mint and dried lavender. After they marinate for at least 4 hours - toss them on the grill. Delicious.

Re: BBQ Dinner Menu
I make pulled pork in the crock pot. It is a huge hit at BBQs.

Re: BBQ Dinner Menu
for dessert (my fave) grilled fruit: -Peaches: cut in half & pitted brushed w/ a little bit of oil & drizzled w/ honey...after grilling you can put a scoop of vanilla ice cream or yogurt in where the pit was - pinapple rings sprinkled w/ cinnamon - bananas cut length wise, mixed w/ lemon juice, brown sugar & cinnamon -smores

Re: BBQ Dinner Menu
Baked Beans - I like to use Bush's brand and add some crumbled bacon (turkey or pork) and brown sugar. Put it in a crock pot to heat up.
Pasta salads are also good.
