I cannot believe the stupidity of people to actually FM you about your posts about Ava!
We are mothers and why can't we say how proud we are of our DC's? I applaud every single thing that my son does. If he stacks 3 or 4 blocks on top of each other I'll clap my hands, when I tell him to close the door and he does it, I clap my hands. That encourages them so much cuz the more I clap my hands the more DS will do that task and then he'll clap his hands with me.
Ignore the idiots! They are jealous!!!

Seriously - It makes me sick that someone would take time out of their day (and probably away from their kids) to write you a nasty FM (or anyone for that matter).
I am not going to say I dont agree with some people on this site..or maybe some of their posts rub me the wrong way, but I would NEVER write a nasty FM to anyone regardless. I realize that we are all different people with different experiences and opinons and I personally try to be respectful of everyone.
I think it is dispicable that someone would do that - and honestly should be banned from the board.
Besides the fact that the fact that they can't say what they have to say publicly just proves further that they are just chicken sh1t, and know what they are doing is not right.

I really cannot believe anyone would feel negatively about your posts. I've always looked at you as such a positive force on these boards - always there with support and good advice and pure honesty. You obviously cherish your daughter and I have enjoyed all your posts about her. Ava is one lucky girl.

Rach, I'm not a parent yet and I still find myself clicking on your posts just to hear about little Ava because she makes me smile. And I hope to be as close to my children as you are to your daughter. You should be extremely proud of yourself because you are a great mother and you inspire in others to be great ones as well - myself included.

Honestly, Rach- if ava was 4 years old and just starting to potty train now, i feel like you'd have the same pride in her- its not about bragging that shes doing it early, its about celebrating just that she's doing it. My mom was always my biggest cheerleader- she still is, and i attribute the confidence i have in myself to that.
There's nothing sadder than someone who feels challenged by the advancement of a 15 month old. seriously.

Wow...you can't be serious about getting nasty FMs regarding your posts about your daughter???? Who does that???? These people that send you these FMs must be really miserable beings...I love Ava posts! You have every right just like anyone on these boards to post anything about everything...you're a proud mommy and you have every right to proclaim it...I know I would!

ill add here too, why not?!! i totally agree with all the PPs as well, but i wanted to add this too.....
im a little dumbfounded that someone takes time out of their day to comment negatively on anothers child here. it is crazy to me! and more over, what is with these parents that dont think THEIR OWN children are the best??!! that they have to put down ava to make themselves feel better? i guess i just dont get it. and i feel badly for you- i know, u seem like the type of person who could care less about what others think  , but as a mother, im sure u sit there once in a while and ponder why someone says such things about ava....?? i think ava is great, and so OBVIOUSLY smart!! and you can only give so much to nature....it is nurture too, and she has a wonderful mother.....

Ummm, you're kidding right? Do people not have better things to do? You, like all of the other wonderful mommies on here have EVERY right to post comments, pictures, videos (which were awesome, btw) concerns, etc.
If people don't want to read them, or respond...that's fine. BUT, to go out of their way to send negative FM's is just friggen disgusting.
Rach, you are a fantastic mommy, and you keep posting away.

I don't understand why people would do that.
I am a strong believer to give our children the encouragement and show how proud we are of them. It shows how much love we have for them, that we are not "ashamed" of them. It gives them confidence.
It also does not mean you love your children more or less whether you keep it to yourself or post it publicly.
Everyone is not your BF on this site and it's OK. I believe if you don't like someone or their post.... just don't read them.
But honestly, sending a FM to someone about them posting about their DC is a bit much.. isn't it? It's mean and unnecessary.
We don't have to like everyone and every post, but we own everyone respect.

You are obviously a wonderful mother who loves her very special and very unique daughter. And anyone who can find something negative in that isn't someone worth your time!
Please continue to post about Ava...she's adorable! And you can forward any negative FMs to me and I'll take care of them for you!

I have to say...I am really confused. Why would someone post negatively about you? Or send you FMs?
You just keep posting just the way you do for those of us (which I'm sure is almost everyone) who are happy for Ava, just as you are happy for other kiddies when they do things!
Why can't people just support one another. We don't all have to agree on techniques and what not, but the one thing we all do have in common is motherhood. Why would one (I'm assuming it's another mommy) post about you being happy for your child? I just don't get that.
