Rach, I'm not a parent yet and I still find myself clicking on your posts just to hear about little Ava because she makes me smile. And I hope to be as close to my children as you are to your daughter. You should be extremely proud of yourself because you are a great mother and you inspire in others to be great ones as well - myself included.

OMG!!! There are days that I am so incredibly grateful to this site and the moms on here who give me advice & support. And then there are days that I just cannot believe that people are so unbelievably rude and inconsiderate. I love reading your posts about Ava and I love seeing your pride shine through. I think it's really great. You are an excellent mom. I think people who FM or post negatively like you're talking about should be "outed" so that we all know how mean they are.

That's just horrible-why shouldn't you be able to post your excitement over your child and her accomplishments? As previous posters stated, ignore it and keep doing what you are doing-most of us enjoy reading about other's accomplishments.

Children learn by example. Now not only can we all agree this mother is mean - but she will soon be teaching her child that it is ok to be mean and to hurt others.
Rach, you are always one of the first to respond to my posts when I have a question. You are such a knowledgeable mother, no wonder why your daughter does so many amazing things! I hope this doesn't stop you from posting about Ava!

Some people really need a hobby if they have so much free time that they choose to spend it writing nasty FMs.
It always stuns me that people feel the need to verbalize every thought or emotion they have about a post. Whatever happened to if you have nothing nice to say...?
Seriously, isn't that the point of the parenting bored? to brag about one's children.

i'm in shock.. i can't believe you actually get nasty FM about posts about AVA??? that's unbelievable.. but what i've always said in life.. you will not please everyone in life and so you shouldn't expect to be friends with everyone in life.. those of us who can appreciate a good mom and a very cute kid love your posts so keep them coming!

It sounds like whomever is sending you nasty FM's or post's are very jealous people. Maybe they want their children to be like yours. I brag all the time about John and I don't care who says what.

Ugh. I can't believe I read that. I don't follow your posts about Ava, but you sound like a great mom. Reading about someone sending you nasty FMs b/c you cheer on your daughter just reinforces my suspicion that there are truly crazy people on here. Sorry you were their target.

Are you seriously saying that people FM you and judge you as a parent?  I hope that you completely ignore them. I cannot believe someone would dare to comment to you - AVA's MOTHER in any way or form of negativity. We should all be so lucky to have had such a cheering squad growing up and to be our child's biggest cheerleaders!

First of all, let me say that I've been out all day and haven't had a chance to check the boards. I want to thank all of you for the amazingly kind words that you've given me. I'm happy to see that the negative comments on my other thread were removed because it was just ridiculous.
I certainly don't let other people's negativity get to me on a regular basis, but at some point, I have to say something. I guess today was that breaking point.
It certainly would never stop me from posting here because I really feel so connected to so many of you, even those whom I've never met. I really feel that being a mom has changed my life for nothing but the better, and knowing that I can come here and share all of that with other moms is something that I am grateful for.

Wow, I cannot believe that people would FM you because you post about your daughter, isnt that what the parenting board is for? It is very sad that people would get upset by a mother who loves and brags about her child. There are so many children in the world who are not fortunate enough to have parents that will cheer for them. Keep posting about your beautiful daughter, and know that she is very lucky to have you.
