Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
To my own post. I have the graco metro light and I HATE it. I want OUT. So it dosent seem like the combi is a big hit...can you recommend your stroller if you love it? I want it to be lightweight, can close with one hand, manuvers well, comfy for DD. Is there such a thing?

I want the same thing... but with a snack tray. Haven't had any luck yet. I may just get the Chicco trevi, since it works with my travel system for the next baby.

Well it never folds right. Sometimes I throw it in the back of my truck still open because I wont let it win. The straps are always all over the place. I dont feel like its cushy enough for her. The basket on the bottom I can never get things in..always jussstt a little to tight to fit what I want down there. The only thing I like are the cupholders. And its too heavy. Its nice to get that all out.

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I actually have the Metro-Lite also...
As for closing it, the one thing I can say is that you have to make sure the wheels are spun the right way or it won't close ( thats with all strollers I think) ...but that may be the trouble you are having with that part of it

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I have a Peg Aria. It's lightweight, folds with one hand, is comfy for DD, has a basket on the bottom, doesn't tip and has a snack tray for her, cup holder for me. The drawback is you must use both hands to steer unless you're on really really smooth ground (like in BJs).

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I have an Ingelsina Zippy. It's not that light (18lbs) but it folds up like an umbrella, has a removable snack tray, huge canopy, reclines, the basket is kind of small though. I got it on Albeebaby.com. The Ingelisa Trip and Swift are both super light, but I don't think either have a snack tray.

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I just got the Graco Mosaic lightweight stroller in "Jewel" a few weeks ago and I have to say......I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! It's great!! Very comfy for Emerson, lightweight, folds and unfolds in a snap, great storage, and the seat reclines. Plus it's a great color........chocolate brown and pink. It was about $110 at BRU but I used the coupon and with tax it came to under $100. I liked it the best of all the strollers I tried, even the Maclarens!!
EDIT - Folds down small and narrow like an umbrella stroller. Image Attachment(s):

I have the swift too and I love it! I have had it for almost a year and have no complaints!
DS is 33lbs and I can hold him, fold the stroller and put it in the trunk. So it must be easy and lightweight! I really liked the reclining on this stoller as I got it when DS was 7 months so I really needed something that reclined easily! I also felt the canopy although small was larger than most lightweight/umbrella strollers!

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I had the metrolite and at about 16 months of use it stopped folding like you described. Then the brakes broke. To replace it we got a Peg Perego Pliko P3 which is a wonderful full size stroller. For the super light weight and super cheap we got the Jeep umbrella stroller. I love both of them.

Re: Best light weight stoller...spinoff.
I used to use the Metrolite and switched to a Maclaren Quest. It was the best move I ever made! It steers easily with one hand and is very easy to open and close. It doesn't come with a snack tray, but that hasn't been a problem. Just beware of the tipping factor! If your diaper bag is too heavy the stroller can tip.

I have the Baby Trend umbrella stroller(don't know the name) and I love it! A lot like the Maclaren but half the price.
