Joey too except for one fish, two fish!! (it's so strange, I could read it like 5x before he gets bored) or of course the ones that light up and read to him but those are interactive

Re: Boy mommies - what was your 1st b-day theme?

We did a jungle theme, ended up being a huge hit!
I think I have some stuff leftover and can walk you through what I did if you decide to do it!

Some examples

Huge monkey face cake (I called DS a monkey since they placed him on my chest Chat Icon )
Homemade monkey cupcakes (so easy)
Inflatable jungle animals for table numbers and centerpieces
Favor was a photo of DS dressed as a monkey holding a banana (his Halloween costume, his birthday is the week after Halloween) with all the inflatable animals surrounding him.

Re: Boy mommies - what was your 1st b-day theme?

doing a construction theme. DH is a contractor so of course when DS was born all we got was tools and trucks. Mason loves them and thought it would be the best theme.

There are so many cute ones to choose from

We did Baby Einstein.

I had a custom made cake and got decorations from Birthday Express. They had some really cute things. Even a personalized banner.
