I had a matching custom invite/thank yous/candy bar wrappers done to match by someone on Ebay and a matching cupcake tower. The colors are so vibrant and pretty in person. I loved it had a touch of blue gingham too Chat Icon

See this is my dilema, DS will be One (1) on 10/29/10 and we will have his birthday party on 10/30/10 so should i do Halloween theme that way we can do costumes for all the kids and candy and orange and black everything? Or should i just pick a boy theme?

We are just doing a primary color polka dot theme. I found the plates and we are working with that. I didn't want to do a character because I figured I would wait until he can really decide what he likes.

I did Winnie the Pooh first birthday. I found the decor at Walmart (pooh bear with the number 1 on everything), matching balloons at Part City & a Winnie the Pooh cake from BJs.

Re: Boy mommies - what was your 1st b-day theme?

Well we had a NY Jets themed party. Since we're huge Jet fans and the party had to be on a Sunday I figured it would be fun and I could watch the game too lol.

We put the game on, got a bunch of tailgate food, heros and everyone wore Jet jerseys, even the kids. Got Jet balloons and all football themed stuff. It was a lot of fun!

Re: Boy mommies - what was your 1st b-day theme?

We did a monkey theme. DS wore a monket costume, I had bananas on holders as the centerpieces with balloons. We only did favors for the kids and ordered a bunch of stuff from oriental trading.
We'll be doing Winter One-derland for this DS.
