C-section mom and moms who pump

Might be a little TMI- Since day one after my c-section I wasn't bleeding a lot. Very light light spotting. This morning I woke up to a pretty heavy flow( I'm 3 weeks PP) my questions are:

Moms who had c-sections- how long did you bleed for and when did you get a normal AF?

Moms who pump how long did you bleed for and when did you get a normal AF?

I've heard with BF and pumping it delays AF so I'm just wondering if this is AF or something I should worry about. My incision has been hurting me for the past 2 days and now that I'm bleeding like this I'm a little worry. Should I call my OB or is this all normal?

ETA: I'm having some cramps to so I'm thinking AF?? Is it to soon for me to have it??

Pumping exclusively from day one i got af back prior to my 6 week checkup.... i did not have a c-section though and was bleeding for 2 weeks pp

I didn't get a heavy flow until about 3 weeks after my c/s. It remained heave for a few weeks. My doctor had to give me something to contract me utrerus until the bleeding stopped. it def. wasn't af for me.

I got my period while pumping, about 4 weeks pp. I thought it was bleeding from the c-section (I didn't bleed heavy after the seciton) but the OB said it was probably my period.

I had a c-section and am EBFing. I bled on and off for 5.5 weeks PP. I got AF at 7 months PP.

You may be experiencing heavier than normal bleeding if you overexerted yourself.

I didn't pump, but I did have a c/s. I bled for almost 13 weeks and it only stopped with BCP's. I'm pretty sure it was all hormonal (I had multiple sonos to make sure there wasn't any tissue from the placenta left inside). I think it's normal to bleed for 4-6 weeks, but if you're still bleeding past that make sure you talk to your OB about it
