I gave birth to DD on a Friday and came home on the Tuesday. If I were you I would not go home before Monday and push to stay till Tuesday, you should be allowed 4 nights.

Had the C-Sec Tuesday AM left Friday AM (I was allowed to stay until Saturday but I opted to go home).

I had DD on a WEdnesday night and was discharged on Saturday afternoon. I probably could have stayed the extra day, but I was begging to go home so doctor let me.
In hindsight I probably should have stayed the extra day as I was still pretty uncomfortable.

had section Sunday and came home Friday, but my blood pressure was high and I developed a fever so they kept me an extra day

Ihad them on a Tuesday and left on Saturday. IMO, you need that time. I would never leave sooner than I have to.

My scheduled c was 9am on Friday, we left on Monday afternoon. I could have stayed til tuesday if i wanted too, but i couldn't wait to get home!

I went in for my induction Friday morning, had a c-section/DD was born at 10:22 pm, went home Tuesday morning around 11.

Went in to be induced on Monday had a c-section Wednesday and left Saturday. My doctor did tell me I could have stood until Sunday if I felt like it.

i had DD at 2:30 in the morning on a Wednesday, I was supposed to go home Saturday, but DH was so sick at home that i asked to stay until Sunday.

Admitted on Sunday afternoon.
C Section Monday afternoon.
Could have left on Thursday, but, stayed until Friday.
I think it's usually 3 nights. I got the "extra" night option because DS was not born on Sunday when I was admitted.

I delivered at St. Catherine's too. I went into labor Monday night, delivered DD via section on Tuesday and was given the option of going home on Friday or staying until Saturday.
My OB gave me the option to leave friday and come in to her office the following week to have the staples removed, or to stay the extra night and have them removed before I left the hospital. I chose to stay.
I will stay as long as I can with the next one too

I had a c-section at 1:40 am on a Friday and went home on Monday morning. I was given the option to stay until Tuesday but my doc aid it's best to get out and away from the risk of infection if I felt up to it.

I delivered @ LIJ (not sure if the hospital makes any difference)
I went in at 11am for a 1pm c/s on Tuesday I left on Friday just after noon. I could have stayed later-as stupid me decided to take perkicet (sp?) my last night (as opposed to the motrin I HAD been taking) and was VERY woozie. I left when I did b/c my new roommate (and her family) were UNBEARABLE!

I went in on a Sunday...gave birth on Monday...came home Thursday evening. I could have stayed an extra day but I did not have a good experience with my roomate and couldn't stand sharing a room with her another night
