Cablevision users: Have you ever lost the card from your box?
DS pulled it out and dropped it into the deck (we think)
will we need a new box or can I just pick up a new card?

I was told there is a $75 charge for a new card. (no joke)
Try going to the walk in center with your cable box and see if you can get one. Don't be surprised if they try to charge you for it though.

DH took up a few boards on the deck and we couldn't find it - i guess he will be taking up a few more tomorrow!

My friend lost his--his 3 year old daughter took it out & couldn't remember what she did with it--so it happens!
He was able to get a new one.

thanks - we are just going to s uch it up and go to CV. We've had the box for 5 years, maybe they'll have pity on us!
We asked DS (almost 3) where it was and he kept pointing to the deck "right there!" and our deck is 20x30 - so who knows which slit he put it down
