DH and I are not ready now and not sure exactly when we will be, if and when the time comes, we will crosss that bridge at that point.

By choice. I never wanted children & wouldn't date a man who wanted them... and although it's never said HERE I always hear "You'll change your mind..." and it totally annoys me.
To all of you not here by choice, I am sorry. I hope you find as much enjoyment and fulfillment in other pursuits as I do

Same here. We were gonna start trying -- then had to put it off for medical reasons...but I was okay with putting it off. if it were up to DH - we'd already have babies by now

But I really want to say that I agree that whatever our reasons, we all really do mesh well. And for all the people who are not here by choice but faced with that future, I really hope that we can provide the comfort and serenity that some of us enjoy being without children but still living our lives happily.
I respect all of you, regardless of your choices, non choices, or soon-to-be-made choices.

Couldn't have said it better myself ! We just don't have the desire to have kids so its just not even a thought to us. We may or may not change our minds, I have no idea what the future holds.

I'm not sure how to answer...
If my DH and I had met many years ago, we would have had children.
We met when we were in our mid-40s.
We got married in our early-50s.
So, our children are fur-babies.
