Yes. Had to know that before my dad would let me drive a car.
I've never had to. and now that I have kids, I have AAA and my DH, so I would call one of them first.

Do I change a tire? HECK NO.... that's why I have AAA. I am not dressed like a mechanic most days. By the time I remove the stroller of my car, get the spare tire, the jack... all that making sure I don't get dirty.... well, AAA is a lot faster.

No....the only thing I know how to do in my car is turn on the engine, open the trunk, open the glovebox, and turn on the radio.

I need to learn honestly.. that's my biggest fear is that I get a flat (or worse) when driving the car..fortunately for me each time I drive the car so far DH has been in the passenger seat (he knows how to change a tire and such).
I know we got the roadside assistance and we got the car emergency kit and such but it's always a good thing to know how to at least change a tire...for now though if it happens to me (god forbid!) I'm calling roadside assitance!

Yup and have done it on numerous occasions...I have aluminum rims and it would be $$$$ to replace or repair one so I change the tire right away and take it to be replaced or repaired.
It helps that I have a full size spare so I don't have to worry about driving limitations that come with a donut.

My dad taught me how to change a tire. My mom taught me how to call AAA.
I do know how to, but I have NO upper body strenth, so I don't see it going so well.
I've always had DH or AAA put the donut on, and then DH takes it to BJs to get a tire.

Yup, I totally! My dad taught me when I was younger. I can change my own oil too!
Same here, but my friends taught me. I can do minor repairs. I have fixed a leaky radiator, a busted serpentine belt, my horn (don't ask)...
