I just called the OB office today. The nurse comfirmed only "emergencies" for dental work.

FYI... I did not call and said Diana wants to know if.....

I had to know if I needed a special precausion with dental work just "hours" before conception time.

I'm not sure, but I was in the middle of 2 root canals when I got BFP and they said there would be not effect on pregnancy ( i went once and had to go back another day, in between the 2 visits I got BFP - it was our 1st month trying so I was NOT expecting to be preggo)

I just saw this - I'm in the 2WW too! My OB said only cleanings and emergencies - I would either do it before if you are out this month or after - I had mine out years ago and they didn't knock me out for it - and I wouldn't wish that on anyone

ETA: It feels like yesterday we all had our little ones and now your the first of the birthday twins to be TTC again...its so exciting!
