I have knowlege on different levels of
spanish
italian
Norwegian
french
the latter two being a few key phrases.
I also know a few things in German, like how to read a menu and ask for food and a pinch of japonese.

I understand Italian, can can speak some of it. I understand Greek (worked with a lot of greeks) can on say the bad words. Basic/minimal Spanish.

i can understand some of the filipino dialect VISAYA, but can't speak it.

I speak and write italian fluently. I can understand and read spanish....
I have basic knowledge of Polish.. my DH is Polish and his parents live in Poland so trying to learn.

i'm can speak conversationally: hebrew (i'm not jewish - dated a guy from israel for several years and picked a lot of it up). also, french - from what i remember learning in school.
dh is proficient in spanish.

I understand Spanish-but when people speak too quickly I get lost. I always respond in English-although I probably could respond in basic terms in Spanish
4 years of Spanish in school-and marrying an Ecuadorian-who I've been with for almsot 8 years helps

- Can no longer speak Spanish but can still understand and ready it.
- Latin but not a spoken language
Would love to learn Chinese (Cantonese!) or Japanese.

I can conversationally speak spanish, and I speak a little Italian.
I would love to speak Italian fluently, my family is from there and mom can speak it fluently...she never taught me or my brother

I have been learning Cantonese. I can understand better than I can speak. It is a VERY difficult language.
