Re: Can you speak another language?

German. My speaking is a bit rusty, but I lived there for a year and studied it for a few years, so brushing up on it wouldn't be a problem.

Dutch and Afrikaans I can somewhat read b/c it is similar to German.

Some Spanish, but just basic phrases.

Conversational Spanish.

I can read Hebrew, but I do not always know what I am reading.

I do know the Greek alphabet (sorority-related)

and you speak jive Chat Icon

Cut me some slack Jack! Chump don't want no help, chump don't get no help. Jive a$$ dude don't got no brains anyhow.

Chat Icon don't know jive, but if I have a piece of paper, I can make a brooch or a hat....... Chat Icon

DH is polish, so he's obviously fluent.

I grew-up in a german household, but never learned to speak... I do always know what everyone is saying, though....
I also fairly proficient in french.... took 6 years of it in HS.... but I'm getting rustier every day....
I also know a little of farsi....

basically, people can't talk about me in german, french, or farsi w/o me knowing about it Chat Icon
