Canned beer at party...
I prefer to drink out of a bottle, but if there are cans, I just use a cup. Doesn't matter to me.

Just curious- does it taste different in a can vs a bottle?
I don't notice a difference, but I'm not a beer expert.
Is that why people prefer bottles?

Canned beer at party...
some beers are only available in bottles, and some only in cans. there are some "fancy" beers that only come in cans - i don't think that makes them "trashy" - it just makes them packaged differently.
and as someone else said - if they have a problem with the free alcohol with which i am providing them, they can go away and not come back.

I was waiting for the icicle lights to come out! This thread is very reminiscent of it lol... 
 I was just going to post something like this. Can you imagine if it were a birthday party or something...then we would have to know just how much the beer cost so we could "cover" our expense.

I prefer bottles and would serve bottles at a party, but just put the nice ice cold cans next to a big stack of solo cups and no one will care.
