Can't believe I am gonna ask this(w/poll)**added another pic(incase you care lol)
I am usually not the early shopper, honestly, I don't even like to shop. However, getting DD#1(she is 9 1/2) a holiday dress last year was a flippin nightmare. She is very particular about comfort, look, everything. She also has major body image issues So I found 2 dresses online that she likes(at least by sight). I may even order both and have her try them both on for comfort.
Anyway(enough rambling ) Do you like them? Honest opinions please

Hmmm, I am surprised by how many people don't like either. Maybe I will order them and just keep looking too. I have learned that trying them on can either make it or break it anyway.

Maybe it would look better on her but I am not crazy about #1. I love #2. Its dressy though so as said above, it depends on how formal you spend the holiday. I do like #2 a lot though. Its early...Im sure more will come out that you may like too
ETA I do like the plaid on #1...its the top part thats throwing it off for me.

I think #1 is cute! I love plaid though.

I admit I am not a fan of either. However, I do like the plaid look for your dd. #2 is doing nothing for me. I dont find black cute for the holidays and its too formal looking. Sorry, I am not a HUGE help. Have you tried looking at dillards.com? i usually like their holiday stuff.

While I like them, she would hate them. She is 9 1/2 and soooo picky. She has LOTS of rules.#1 she would hate the high neck and a drop waste does not flatter her shape. #2 would be too babyish and she would freak about the bow.
Maybe, I can save my self the aggravation and let her wear jeans

I like this idea! I love he plaid!
forgive me but #2 looks like an old lady dress, I think some black clothes can be appropriate for children, but that one just seems old to me.
