These things are miserable, my right leg hurts like a son of a bitc* I was doing ok for a week or so and now they're back again! I've been trying to eat a banana everyday but now it doesn't seem to be working anymore! XOXOXO BOTB

Re: Charlie horses are baaaaaaackkkk
Try flexing your foot back as hard as you can as soon as you feel one coming on. That's the only way to stop one in its tracks. A good friend of mine taught me that one, and it works wonders! Hold your foot flexed back for at LEAST 30 seconds until you KNOW it's gone.
You may still be a little sore, but it's nothing compared to how you feel after a full-fledged charlie horse!

This is how I got my Charlie Horses.....by flexing my foot back. I have only had two episodes....AND, it hurts!!

I always make sure to stretch before going to bed. I stand with my toes on the stairs and stretch out my calves.

UGH, sorry to hear! Mine always came on when I pointed my toes while stretching in the middle of the night.
I've programmed myself not to do that anymore.
