Well i for one think that the 'electrician needed' & 'neighborhood watch' posts need to be moved to the home board, 'need help creating a website' should go to crafts n hobbies, 'ice cream truck just rolled past my house' belongs under recipes, 'anyone see chipwrecked movie' belongs under celebs n entertainment aaannnddd 'donating womens work clothes' needs to be moved to fashion & beauty.

But the TPTB's rule is that the main thread needs to be in Home, and the X-post thread needs to be in FHF, so the neighborhood watch post might get moved to Home at some point, along with the X-post that is already there. I've seen it happen on numerous occasions.
I don't make the rules, I just try to work within them.

Their rules make me want to  Whatever lol. If that is what gets them off, then so be it. I am sure there are plenty of people who have reported it already. But betcha $10 the tampon thread, the icecream truck thread and all the threads about Gary carter will stay
And let me edit to add that again, I guess families watching out for each other aka neighborhood watch should not be spoken of in the families helping families board. This is why I don't get it...........

Oh I am sure you didn't mean for drama to happen, 99% of the time when repeated topics are brought up that bring out claws, the OP really is unaware of what the end result will become. I agree that the buh-bye was a bit much.
I wish icicle lights was still there, but like so many drama threads, it fought the good fight and went dying, dying into the light.

Well, now you have the floor and its not a "health" post. Many people are reading it, so why not post your question here. Your family is in need of a therapist? What area of L.I. Maybe if you ask it now, you will get some answers before someone reports it.

You are correct. Had some wonderful people fm me some names. It's actually for me, broke my rib twice in the past month, just really depressed now and overwhelmed. Thought maybe it would be a good idea to talk to someone so I am not always so cranky around my husband and daughter.

Shawn you probably remember what this board was actually named before. There was always this FHF board but it got zero traffic. Then there was a board under not family related that had tons of traffic that had all theses BS posts and they got rid of that and it all came here.
So yes FHF really has nothing to do with helping families it's just how TPTB set the boards up.

Honestly, dont worry. There are some nasty women on here who think it's ok to attack another poster JUST because they can. I don't understand why ther can't just be nice and not even reply. Or why they can't even be civil.
I get they might be "tired" of answering a post like this, or seeing a post like this. But I do t understand why they cant be CIVIL to someone rather than attacking. Keep your dignity and just don't respond to the nastiness.

Sorry you are not getting the answers you need. It IS frustrating when a trivial post gets 50 answers and someone who really needs help gets the shaft.
I would try posting on modern mommies or other FB pages. I can't help you because I have tried a few times to find a therapist and most are crazier than me.
Hope you find a good one, its not easy!
