Coping methods for when you are at the end of your rope?
The kids are driving me crazy. My 2 year old hasn't slept in 3 nights which means I haven't slept. She's whiny, clingy, sick and tired. I just need a break! UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Thanks for letting me vent

I've put myself in "time out" before. Any chance you can get both down for a nap?
The minute DH is around, tell him you need a break.
I know this sounds perfectly insane, but when I was pregnant with Maddie, I got out of a hair appointment early. I parked my car in the high school parking lot & took a nap. Why? Because I knew the minute I got home, I was "on" & needed a break.
I don't suggest it, but I admitted to DH a few days later what I did. He told me to tell him when I needed a break & then proceeded to take Joseph to stores with him.

Wait for DH to come home and get a glass of wine. I do nothing more for the rest of the evening.

Tell DH/SO you need someone to take over for a bit. Or if you have anyone else who can watch them, ask them to do so. Or hire a sitter if you have a sitter. Whatever you can do so you can get some sleep and or a break.
Sleeping in a parking lot doesn't sound crazy at all! Recently when I was sick (and exhausted) I dropped DS off at a local childcare service for a couple hours, came home and napped. At first it seemed like a waste of money, but it was the best $$$ spent lately.

I will suggest child care, or dropping them off at someone elses house for a playdate.
