Cost to remove wall AC units?
Our home has 2 wall AC units. They're in bedrooms in the back of the house. I want to have them removed and patched up. Has anyone had this done and know how much it approximately costs? Also if you have a referral for someone who could do this that would be awesome! Thanks!

Cost to remove wall AC units?
I am curious about this too, we were actually thinking about putting in a window instead thinking maybe it will be cheaper

We paid 275 each for 4 units last year.
That was everything - fill in, patch up, paint, match siding.
I doubt it's cheaper to do a window.
He might have given us a break bc he just redid my mom's Sandy damaged home.

Great, thanks! I'm wondering why the homeowners didn't just do it. I guess it didn't bother them that much.

We paid $400 each to fill in, patch and match siding. $275 sounds like a great deal!

Ours were $150 each to remove and patch and replace with matching siding. Our contractor did it while doing other work on the house.
