Re: cradle cap
I used olive oil, let it sit for 10 min, then brushed it out with thin comb.
Then washed her hair, rinse and repeat.

Re: cradle cap
sorry if this is a stupid quesiton - what is cradle cap? Hannah has some red areas that are flaky...is that cradle cap?
I've actually put Aqaphor on it. It works, but its greasy.

It looks like yellow, scaly, flakes.

Re: cradle cap
I use Johnson & Johnson's with honey and vitamin E. When her hair is lathered I use a soft toothbrush gently on her scalp. After three uses it was all gone

I tried this as well but it didn't help as much as I wanted. I asked his Pediatrician and he advised me to use Neutrogena T-Gel Shampoo but only to be careful so that it does not get in his eyes. I washed one time and I already saw the improvement right away.

Re: cradle cap
I had tried all that oils stuff and none of it worked with my son's cradle cap. What did work is using Neutrogena T Gel shampoo a couple times a week and rubbing with soft toothbrush. Be careful of babies eyes - but this cleaned it up the best. It was my doctor's recommendation.

Re: cradle cap
None of the oils worked for Steven. It was also more difficult because he has alot of hair. What finally worked (he still has a tiny bit) was this. You put some on the scalp and brush it, right before a bath.

My doctor told me Selsun Blue also. Then put aquaphor on it. My DD has it on her eyebrows and behind her ears.
YUK!!! I actually just went to the doctors today for this.
