I got the flu shot when pg with DS and DD2. DD1 was born mid October so I got the flu shot right after I delivered.

I was pregnant during flu season and didn't get the flu shot. My OB never mentioned it. None of the 3 I saw brought it up. I never even thought aboutit.

Helllzzz yes, I wanted to protect me AND give antibodies to the baby.
Unfortuntaley, I still got the flu when I was PG with my DS even though I got the shot and it was MISERABLE, there is very little you can take for it when you're PG and it's the pits!

Yes I got it for both pregnancies. My grandmother was born deaf because my grandmother was sick while pregnant. Anything I could do to lesson that chance I wanted to take.

This definatley put my mind at ease. If it weren't for being pregnant, I wouldn't ususally get the shot.
Was anyone ever worried about birth defects to the baby (from the shot)? From what I read, that is a myth. Getting the actual FLU is the worst part.

I did.... there is a certain shot( I think its a lesser dose) that they will give you.... they have to know your pregnant
