Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
this has been tickling my curiosity so I figured I'd just come out an ask.
for the time that you breast fed, could your husband...um...enjoy your breasts...at least with his hands...while doing the deed???
I am not nervous for my boobs, I am nervous for my husbands eyes? will I accidently shoot one out if he gives me a squeeze?
this will not in any way effect my decision to breast feed...I am definitely doing it (or trying 100% at least) but I just wanted to know how it comes into play in the sex life.
if you are brave enough to answer, I think you.
and thank all of you for humoring me.

yes, if he squeezes them, he should close his eyes
and in my experience, you do not have to squeeze too hard to get things flowing...tell him to tread lightly.

I cannot speak for anyone but myself, but when BFing the girls are only for the baby. I have to even cover them while DTD, because, yes, the projectile could potentially maim my DH

I never had any issue with it. Well except that I was really proud that I finally had breasts.

I didn't breastfeed, or get any milk, so I can't speak from experience....but I believe once your milk comes in, whether you are using it or not, it can squirt him.....so be careful either way!

My DH can't get near mine during the deed. They start to leak even when he doesn't touch them, I think it has to do with my arousal maybe....I'm not sure. Either way, he def can't squeeze them!

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
Hubby didn't seem to have any problems adapting - it was me who had a little trouble going from BFing to sexual objects, all in the same day, particularly in the beginning when my boobs were sore. He was instructed to be hands off the boobs for the first 3-4 weeks until the soreness was completely gone and my body started regulating.
Keep in mind, many, many women don't leak. I, unfortunately, was a BIG leaker. I had to wear nursing pads all the time (I invested in two good pairs of Lilly Padz, so save the environment ), so after those 3-4 weeks were up, I would do one of two things - either always wear nursing pads to bed, and he would have to navigate around them (yuck), or if *I* was in an amorous mood and knew it was coming, I'd immediately pump beforehand. Whenever I pumped, I had a good 1-2 hours in the leak-free zone, where DH would have fair play on all the goods

ITA..........honestly with having a baby on your boob 24/7 the last thing you want is someone else touchign them.... It gets to be like sensory overload where you just don't want them to be touched

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
That was a "restricted zone" for me. I actually felt VERY protective of them when I was BFing DS. I was not in the mood to get any attention is that area.
I sprayed DS many times. I would have laugh so hard if I had sprayed DH in an intimate moment.

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
i actually dont leak at all, and havent since about the 5th week..so my boobs are up for the taking ..but as someone posted earlier, i did have a VERY hard time using my boobs for anything sexual once i got so used to them being for my baby.. and im a VERY sexual person...so this was very untypical for me.

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
I'm gonna be honest and admit that Rob may have tried the tap. But it was more curiousity than anything. After seeing our son breast feed he was very reverant about my breasts and didn't do wo much in the way of um.. playing around with them. In fact our youngest is 5 so I haven't breastfed for about 4 years and he is JUST NOW getting back in the groove and seeing the fun in my fun bags!

Ugh, I started leaking even just laying on top of him, so obviously I told him to lay off bc he would get shot in the eye.....

I had a crazy over supply for the 18 mos!
never had sex without a bra on, since pads were a must.

DH wouldn't even touch the girls - he was too freaked out. It changed the minute I weaned DS.

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
I'm only 4 weeks pp and EBF. I cannot imagine my breasts feeling sensual ever again. I used to be very proud of them and thought they were sexy. Now they are milk producers for DS. I highly doubt DH would find stroking them to be sexual and I definitely know I won't. Perhaps I will feel differently down the road.

Re: Crashing to ask a VERY personal question to mom's who breast feed/fed.
DS is 13 months and I still get squeamish if DH goes for them during sex. He's fine with them, but I still associate them too much with DS - which I know I shouldn't, but I do. So, not sure if that was 100% the question, but I will answer honestly in saying, for me, breasts are not what they were during sex. We'll see what happens when I wean, but I think it's going to take a while for me to remember they're meant for fun too. Poor DH
