We don't. 3 reasons.
1. I can't afford it
2. I only have off on the weekends. I don't want to be tied to a class everyweekend. I want to do fun things with my family etc.
3. I think if you are a SAHM you are doing those things to socialize your kid and whatnot. If your kid is in daycare.. that's a given.
Don't make yourself feel guilty. You will bond with your child every second and you don't need a class to do that for you Not that I have anything against classes. I take a swim class with Liam when I home in the summer and I would love to do a music together class. They are all super fun! That being said.. you don't need a class to have fun and to bond. Do what you can do and what makes your family happy!

I work FT and DD is in daycare. She is not signed up for any programs like that. I just don't feel like there is enough time on the weekends...cooking, cleaning, shopping, errands, seeing friends and family pretty much eats up the whole weekend. And when it doesn't, I enjoy the downtime. I feel like DD is pretty well socialized because she is with the other kids at daycare.

FTWM, I take DD to a tumble time class on Saturdays. It's only one hour a week, early in the morning so it doesn't usually conflict with other activities and she really enjoys running around.

We signed up for little gym ONLY because it was a groupon and they didn't have to be all in a row. I take him now and then, but honestly there is no need for it.
There are often GTGs organized here at gymboree, Little Gym etc. If you want to do that you can always organize one here yourself or join in on one someone has gotten going.
